a lot of APIs has been changed/obsoleted in GNOME3. there should be a kind of
tasks to accomplish that in uim:

* immodule built against gtk3
* get rid of libgnome/libgnomeui dependencies
  http://live.gnome.org/LibgnomeMustDie
* update the applet code to get rid of bonobo deps
  libpanel-applet doesn't provide an interface for bonobo anymore.
