Thanks for the information.

I took a look fcitx-3.4.1. But unfortunately, it looks basically
a monolithic XIM server, and porting it into uim-fcitx seems not
so easy. Although its Chinese input core looks concentrated in
py.c and table.c, it is still depending on other Fcitx's own UI
parts that deeply tied with XIM (such as ime.c,
ui.c). Separating it from XIM will be a considerable work that
requires Chinese language processing knowledge.

Do you know future development plan of Fcitx? If the input core
has gotten independent of XIM, someone could consider porting it
into uim-fcitx (but sorry, we cannot promise).
