[utf-8] HOW to determine the size of UTF-8 code.

hi there,

i would like to no how to determine the size of UTF-8 encoded words. for eg: ther word rajesh- raje takes 7 bytes,and s,h take 1 byte each( if i am not rong).if ne body could help me in this matter, kindly write to me at rkrishnia at bom.direm.com
