Which hypervisor and which Android image do you have in mind? With
virgl, the flow is
guest mesa driver (virgl) -> guest kernel driver (virtio-gpu) ->
host qemu/crosvm -> libvirglrenderer
There is a 1:1 relationship between guest and host GL contexts.
