virgl + software opengl

Dear, virgl guys!

I looked over the internet in searching for a solution to achieve my goal. And now I want to ask advice from professionals.

I am building a thin client KVM+QEMU host with about 70 cores.
For now, I'm using spice + QXL. As I see this is not very fast solution for many desktop apps. So, I decided to try adding OpenGL software rendering. The main blocker of my task - is not to use GPU at all.
Could VirGL help me to achieve this without GPU and render graphics on CPU?
If not, could you please recommend me something else?
