commit 0be41b739b2af9ea755019bea3ce67cd9443f4b5
Author: Rob Bradford <rob at linux.intel.com>
Date: Thu Jul 11 16:00:00 2013 +0100
editor: Support shift-left/right for selecting text
If the shift modifier is active then we don't make the cursor and the
anchor the same and as a result we develop a selection in the direction
that the arrow key gets pressed in.

Closing this one regardless of the Ctrl-a etc issue. editor isn't meant to be
a full featured entry widget, and there are many other things we could fix:
home/end doesn't work and of course shift-home/end doesn't work, ctrl-arrows
should move by word, shift-ctrl-pointer select by word etc. It serves its
purpose of exercising the IM integration however.
