          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 61877
          Assignee: wayland-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
           Summary: weston-launch clears environment variables
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux (All)
          Reporter: runesvend at gmail.com
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
            Status: NEW
           Version: unspecified
         Component: weston
           Product: Wayland

weston-launch clears the session's environment variables, which means I can't
set things up like GDK_BACKEND=wayland, or a custom LIBRARY_PATH for a
Wayland/Weston install into a different prefix.

This makes one unable to launch native GTK+ applications from the panel
application launcher, since one is required to open a terminal, source the
right variables, and then launch the desired GTK+ app.
