Priority: medium
Bug ID: 70253
Assignee: wayland-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: Touch points are not mapped to the correct output in
multi-display setup
Severity: major
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
Reporter: ullysses.a.eoff at intel.com
Hardware: Other
Status: NEW
Version: unspecified
Component: weston
Product: Wayland
In a multi-display setup, with at least on of those displays a touch device,
Weston does not map touch events to the correct output if that [touch] output
is not the primary display (NOTE: desktop-shell always uses extended,
side-by-side output setup). That is, if Display-1 is 1920x1080 and primary and
Display-2 is 1920x1080 then Display-1 output origin starts at x=0,y=0 and
Display-2 output origin starts at x=1920,y=0. Next, if Display-2 is a touch
device, then touch events on Display-2 are mapped to x=0,y=0 origin
coordinates.
