            Bug ID: 747471
           Summary: [wayland] gdk_screen_get_monitor_geometry() returns
                    invalid geometry
    Classification: Platform
           Product: gtk+
           Version: 3.16.x
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Normal
         Component: Backend: Wayland
          Assignee: gtk-bugs at gtk.org
          Reporter: christian at hergert.me
        QA Contact: gtk-bugs at gtk.org
                CC: rob at robster.org.uk, wayland-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
     GNOME version: ---

It's common for an application to set a default geometry for a window based on
the monitor geometry. But gdk_screen_get_monitor_geometry() returns a width and
height of zero on the wayland backend. gdk_screen_get_width() and
gdk_screen_get_height() also appear to be returning zero.
