Interestingly, libinput-list-devices shows that button areas are enabled
instead of the clickfinger behavior for both Xorg and wayland:

I'm not familiar with udev so I don't know how to make sure that the hwdb files
are loaded.

On wayland and Xorg, gnome-shell uses /usr/lib/libinput.so.10
