            Bug ID: 91615
Summary: Moves aren't smooth with Synaptics touchpad
           Product: Wayland
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: Other
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: libinput
          Assignee: wayland-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: nalimilan at club.fr

evemu recording

When I use libinput, moves using the touchpad aren't as smooth as with the
synaptics driver.

I have an hp Pavilion dm4 with this touchpad:
# Input device name: "SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad"
# Input device ID: bus 0x11 vendor 0x02 product 0x07 version 0x1b1

Cf. Bug 91135 about two-finger scrolling with the same touchpad.

I'm attaching an evemu recording with a few moves and clicks (I took it while
using the synaptics driver, I hope that's not an issue). This is with libinput
0.11.0 on Fedora 22.
