Hi, I compiled the git version and `libinput-debug-events --verbose` reports:
```
input device 'AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint Stick', /dev/input/event16 is tagged by
udev as: Mouse Pointingstick
Device 'AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint Stick' set to const accel 4.00
```

But the pointer speed is still slow (unaccelarated)
