            Bug ID: 92657
Summary: Synaptics touchpad small lags / freezes
           Product: Wayland
           Version: 1.0.1
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: libinput
          Assignee: wayland-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: admin at airblader.de

evtest

The synaptics touchpad on my X1 Carbon (3rd gen) is occasionally jumpy when
moving the pointer with one finger, but it only seems to happen when moving
really slow (like when adjusting a volume slider).

I'll attach an evtest log and looking at it, it seems that when the jump
happens, only pressure events are reported for a while and no motion events
(see line 1658ff.).

I'm not familiar with libinput in any way, that's all I can see. It may not
even be a libinput issue, but any input on how to proceed or where to take this
would be appreciated.

P.S.: This is somewhat related to #91615, but the log file there doesn't seem
to show the same pattern, so it may not be the same -- plus it's supposed to be
fixed.
