Nevermind my last post. here is the result:
sudo touchpad-edge-detector 105x73 /dev/input/event5
Touchpad ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad on /dev/input/event5
Move one finger around the touchpad to detect the actual edges
Kernel says: x [0..3249], y [0..2223]
Touchpad sends: x [0..3249], y [0..2223] -^C//
Touchpad size as listed by the kernel: 104x74mm
User-specified touchpad size: 105x73mm
Calculated ranges: 3249/2223
Suggested udev rule:
