           Version: unspecified
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Normal

     GNOME version: ---

you can pretty quickly grow the memory usage of gnome-terminal by running:

while true; do echo ; done

and then giving the window focus over and over again. It seems to be leaking
shared memory buffers.
