            Bug ID: 96889
Summary: Multi touch gesture in exclusion area not working
           Product: Wayland
           Version: 1.3.0
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: libinput
          Assignee: wayland-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: hello at atrotors.com

If you initiate a multitouch tap (two or three fingers), the fingers in the
exclusion area are not registered (), this also happens with two finger
scrolling, if one finger starts in the exclusion area, pointer movement happens
instead of scrolling.

There are two options to fix this, one would be if there are any other fingers
registered, exclusion are should be disabled,OR an option to turn palm
detection and therefor exclusion areas off altogether because at the current
state gesture and taps are not registered and it is very annoying.

Arch linux on UX305FA, using libinput v1.3.3
