I made changes in the evolution code based on your suggestions for 3.21.2+ and
3.20.2+ [1] and I can confirm that with it the emoticon and color chooser
popups are shown at the correct place (and without runtime warnings) under both
X11 and Wayland. Thanks for your help with this.
