evemu recording of still finger (no observable jitter)

I ran a live image of fedora 24 pre-beta (composed 30/4) and it produced the
same results as I explained in the initial report. Admittedly, I THINK it was
running the same version of libinput.
Is there a particular version of libinput I should try?
