Bug ID: 766543
Summary: Missing cursors under Wayland
Classification: Platform
Product: gtk+
Version: 3.20.x
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: Backend: Wayland
Assignee: gtk-bugs at gtk.org
Reporter: mcatanzaro at gnome.org
QA Contact: gtk-bugs at gtk.org
CC: rob at robster.org.uk, wayland-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
GNOME version: ---
The Wayland backend seems to be missing a bunch of cursors, including important
ones like hand2. Reproducer is to hover over any link in Epiphany.
I guess Wayland might not provide all the same cursors as X11 for whatever
reason, but if so there really ought to be some way to query this and find out
if a cursor will be supported, or if it will just fail. Ideally there would
also be a graceful fallback to the normal cursor, rather than a disappearing
cursor.
