No application can be run as root.

Eg: 'sudo gedit' Gives the following output:

on Debian testing:

Version details:
gnome-shell: 3.22.0
wayland-protocols: 1.7

on Fedora 24:

Please reassign to the right module if not related to gtk+ (or forward to
