          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium

device description, recordings

After moving from X to Wayland with the GNOME 3.24 update, I've noticed a
change in trackpad responsiveness. Scrolling with two fingers and tapping to
click have become inconsistent. I attempted to debug the issue by comparing the
output of libinput-debug-events to evtest and realized that for some evdev
events, say BTN_TOOL_DOUBLETAP, there was no corresponding output (e.g.
BUTTON_RIGHT) from libinput-debug-events. I've attached the device description
as well as evemu recordings of various actions (scrolling, left click, right
click, middle click) that don't consistently produce the corresponding events
in libinput.

libinput version: 1.7.0-1
wayland version: 1.13.0-1
