As sugested by you in the ubuntu launchpad, adding the parameter
'psmouse.synaptics_intertouch=0' to /etc/default/grub works perfectly !

In my case on fedora 27 I had to update grub with:
sudo grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/efi/EFI/fedora/grub.cfg instead of sudo
update-grub

Tks for the temporary fix!
