--- Comment #17 from Giuseppe Margarita <giuseppemargarita at gmail.com> ---
Reset default rules. I run touchpad-edge-detector several times and got these
results:

Kernel says:    x [1330..5652], y [1094..4846]
Touchpad sends: x [1350..5620], y [1090..4714] /
1350:5620:40
1090:4714:86

Kernel says:    x [1330..5652], y [1094..4846]
Touchpad sends: x [1350..5630], y [1085..4718] |
1350:5630:40
1085:4718:87

Kernel says:    x [1330..5652], y [1094..4846]
Touchpad sends: x [1352..5623], y [1085..4713] /
1352:5623:40
1085:4713:86

Kernel says:    x [1330..5652], y [1094..4846]
Touchpad sends: x [1350..5626], y [1094..4714] \
1350:5626:40
1094:4714:86

Kernel says:    x [1330..5652], y [1094..4846]
Touchpad sends: x [1354..5625], y [1079..4718] -
1354:5625:40
1079:4718:87

Kernel says:    x [1330..5652], y [1094..4846]
Touchpad sends: x [1352..5633], y [1094..4718] |
1352:5633:40
1094:4718:86

All edges are quite closer to kernel values, except bottom edge far about 120.
x resolution is always 40, y resolution varies from 86 to 87.

I adopted the following custom rule as an average:
evdev:name:SynPS/2 Synaptics

 EVDEV_ABS_00=1350:5626:40
 EVDEV_ABS_01=1088:4716:86
 EVDEV_ABS_35=1350:5626:40
 EVDEV_ABS_36=1088:4716:86
