            Bug ID: 99975
           Summary: Trackpad drags halt suddenly
           Product: Wayland
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: Other
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: libinput
          Assignee: wayland-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: tom at compton.nu

Testing a 1.7.x pre-release build (from
https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=18007385) of libinput I
noticed a tendency for a drag across the touchpad to suddenly stop.

Eventually I figured that it seemed to be pressure related - if I start on the
left of the touchpad and drag right then there's a natural tendency if my hand
is held still and the finger being dragged bends to make the move for pressure
to reduce slightly as it gets further to the right until eventually the
pressure is insufficient and the drag stops typically around 75% of the way
across the screen.

This was not noticeable in 1.6.x but I've been told that pressure sensitivity
is a new addition which I guess would explain the issue.
