Ok so I've been testing libinput 1.6 for a few days, and this is my feeling on
it.
I'm not sure which I like better, the 1.5 behaviour or the 1.6. I feel like for
slow-ish finger movements I am more accurate, but there are times when I
quickly try to cursor and it flys much further than I had intended. It gives me
a feeling of being out-of-control of the cursor.
However you have drawn the acceleration curve doesn't quite feel right, and it
is hard for my mind to grasp the constantly changing acceleration. With 1.5 the
acceleration felt more predictable, and I could counteract any perceived
sluggishness by adapting my own behavior, but with this new set it is just odd.
It neither feels sluggish or too fast, but rather both simultaneously.
