Hello,
just to confirm that I'm experiencing the same issue. I'm running Arch Linux
with kernel linux-lts 4.9.60-1 on a HP ProBook 430 G4. Many people on
bbs.archlinux.org report problems with HP laptops. Also, I'm running on Xorg
instead of Wayland. My model has no dock station, the keyboard just doesn't
work after upgrading libinput. An external USB keyboard works. Downgraded to
libinput 1.8.3 and the problem is gone.
If you need any log or further info tell me!
Have a good day and thanks for all your work.
Best
