OK, I inadvertently submitted that comment because the issue occurred while I
was typing.

It happens when lowering my palms while typing such that the meaty part of my
left thumb muscle/palm lightly contacts the touchpad on the upper-left
quadrant.

I'll restart now, test, and provide feedback soon.
