weird, libinput-list-devices shouldn't be installed anymore if you upgraded
normally, the libinput tool replaced it.

You can replay the recording using sudo  evemu-play <filename>, then hit enter
to start the events. Run that after starting sudo libinput debug-events
--enable-tap and it should show either the tap or the swipe events, whichever
is detected.

I also recommend using the touchad-edge-detector tool first to check if the
axis ranges are correct.
