Put another way, I haven't yet seen any touchpad that didn't need hysteresis
turned off (or reduced, or redesigned). I just made that comment because I was
surprised to see even the best touchpads I know of are also affected.

So in my mind this fix is just about the single most important fix we need to
get into Ubuntu 18.04. It eclipses other bugs because there's little need for
other fixes if the user can't move the cursor and therefore chooses not to use
the desktop at all. That's not an exaggeration, just a fact that I am
experiencing myself and want to make sure it doesn't remain so going into
Ubuntu 18.04.

So when is libinput 1.10 due? :)
