This is expected; Mesa now uses the dmabuf interface for its buffers (including
exotic modifiers), which is supported by the GL renderer, but not by the DRM
backend. So we just punt on trying to display it directly.

This is fixed by the backend of the modifier/overlay support series I have and
have been trying to rework. It will almost certainly land for the next release,
given it largely has positive review.
