libinput sees. libinput's patches don't affect it.
and yes, true - the hysteresis in synaptics doesn't account for device
resolution, it's just some fixed value. based on my calculation the synaptics
one ends up being just over 0.5mm (8 units) whereas the libinput one is 0.5mm
(x:6 or y:7 units). You could verify that by changing tp_init_hysteresis() to
set the margin to a hardcoded 8.</pre>
