        <pre>the problem is that the X server acceleration is... opaque. I really don't know
what's happening, there are too many different factors at play, including
device-specifics that it's almost impossible to predict what the pointer accel
code does. That's one reason why libinput does things like the MOUSE_DPI
database.</pre>
