<div>
<pre>Currently Wayland is build around a silent assumption that buffers shared
between client and compositor have implicit cross-process fencing mechanism
built into them. It would be good to have an explicit mechanism in place,
perhaps similar to one found in Android.
As far as I know, there's already some work done. I'm opening this bug to track
the progress as per our discussion in <a class="bz_bug_link
bz_status_NEW "
title="NEW - Wayland lacks cross-process synchronisation"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=97353">bug 97353</a>.</pre>
