evemu log of horizontal scrolling
I have a Mad Catz Mad Catz R.A.T.7 Mouse, it has two wheels -- for vertical and
for horizontal scrolling. It also has back/forward buttons -- for navigating in
file/web browsers.
Back and forward buttons work fine, but horizontal scrolling doesn't work at
all.
>From the evemu log I can see that:
* "back" button is BTN_SIDE
* "forward" button is BTN_EXTRA
* scrolling to the left is BTN_BACK
* scrolling to the right is BTN_FORWARD
I'm on Fedora 25, libinput version 1.6.0.
In the attached log of `sudo evemu-record /dev/input/event4`, I first slowly
scroll two times to the left and then two times to the right.
(Thankfully, my mouse works at all under libinput as opposed to input-evdev or
whatever Ubuntu uses by default, as I found the hard way half-way through the
installation process.)</pre>
