That's just nitpicking. Play with the thresholds a bit and see if you can improve the behaviour. Maybe move it to 12/10 or 12/8 or so. fwiw, when you play around with this, try ./tools/event-debug first, then install and restart X/wayland. You don't need to run the udev bits or a reboot.
