<pre>That bottom section is the software button area and we intentionally suppress
movement in that area to avoid cursor movement on clicks. For details, see

To avoid this behaviour switch to the 'clickfinger' click method,
gnome-tweak-tool exposes this in the Keyboard and Mouse section. What
clickfinger is is also explained in the above link.
