actually, looking at the pressure values again, this is a dupe of <a class="bz_bug_link 
          bz_status_RESOLVED  bz_closed"
   title="RESOLVED FIXED - Unusable pressure values on ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad"
   href="show_bug.cgi?id=100463">bug 100463</a>,
should be fixed once I get 1.7.2 out

that's likely the palm detection kicking, so that's expected
