<pre>But it still doesn't feel right. When using the branch, I still can't draw tiny
circles with small finger movements the way I can when I disable hysteresis by
simply commenting out tp_motion_hysteresis(tp, t); in src/evdev-mt-touchpad.c.
With that change, it feels perfect.
I'm attaching an evemu recording of me successfully drawing small circles with
tiny finger movements when using libinput what that single change.</pre>
