<pre>I mostly agree, and was already aware of the 3 layers of stack issue. This is
certainly worth the effort before resorting to that.
If a config option was to ever be created though, we might want to present it
at the top layer as "Sensitivity" so users could understand what they're
changing. Below that the hysteresis would be the inverse of the sensitivity
value.</pre>
