if it isn't applied, the behaviour of the tablet does not change, any
perceived change is just an illusion. Nothing but systemd parses that property
and systemd parses it to update the kernel device. So if the kernel device
doesn't change, then nothing has happened and the hwdb entry just shouts into
the void :)
