<pre>It shouldn't have to explicitly request SSD since that's the compositor's
default decoration mode, if I understand the protocol correctly?
What's your workflow for debugging this? Are you testing this with stable kwin
(5.11.5 for me)? I tested it quickly this morning and I had a hard time running
any gtk3 application because of a xdg-shell mismatch.</pre>
