        <pre>It seems kinda embarrassing that there isn't at least a workaround for this.
Until someone figures out the perfect philosophical resolution to the whole
current-time thing, can't we at least have a kludge that makes simply
present()ing windows work, on the compositor we're telling everyone is
superior?</pre>
