<pre>The library folder that is at issue, on Mint, seems to be:
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/
and have I deleted a linibinput shortcut therein to an older version of
libinput. But I am still unsure that libinput palm detection is working
properly. So I am minded to return to synaptics until Mint 19 arrives and then
see how its version of libinput works.</pre>
