Universal Ubuntu build script

I would appreciate verification that this works with Intel video cards.  I
have only tested it with nVidea with nouveau.

This uses the mesa build option --disable-gallium-egl implemented by Chia-I
Wu to handle the problem that had been handled by --disable-gallium without
breaking support for nVidia and ATI/AMD.

This is specifically for Ubuntu Maverick.
