I'm afraid it didn't work for me. I finally got code to build
successfully, but the compositor still refuses to start. That's what it
has to say about it:

Trying to start it outside of X11 is also a no go. I will do a last try
tomorrow rebuilding everything from scratch, but I have almost given up.
Maybe I will have better luck with my one of my netbooks.
