I am a newbie. Where to start?

Hi,
The first step is to have something that you want to do. Maybe you
want to run Quake on Wayland or maybe you want to solve the remote
Wayland case. Once you figure out something more specific you want to
do, figuring out the details of that and what questions to ask is a
lot easier.
