Getting valgrind/callgrind dumps for weston.

Hello,

I am not able to produce any valid callgrind dumps for weston.

i am giving the following command:
valgrind --tool=callgrind  ./weston-launch --
--modules=xwayland.so,desktop-shell.so

i get a fully functional weston compositor.. but it always ends up with a
dumpfile with no contents. 0kb file.

i get two dumpfiles.. the one for the valgrind itself, and one for the
weston. which is unreadable being of 0kb.

any help how to get a dumpfile for weston/weston-launch ?
