Thanks Pekka,
I have some local modifications and this is part of a bigger project to fix
damage handling in Wayland/Weston.  If it doesn't get merged now, I'll
include it in the patch series for that.  Unfortunately, it's not trivial
and I have very little time to dedicate to it right now so it may be a
while.
