No. Neither the touchstrips nor touchrings are multitouch, and I don't
see any practical reason for them to be made multitouch in the future
(on our devices they're intended to act like scroll wheels). Certainly
such hardware could be made[1] but I don't think representing it to
clients as a bitvector would be optimal.
