How about input method for CJK at present?

Hi wayland developers,

I found that Jan Arne Petersen implemented extend text protocol for IBus 
support in 2013

But upstream did not merge it, so I want to know the status about input 
method for CJK, it might be the same situation for Fcitx wayland branch 
https://github.com/fcitx/fcitx/tree/wayland

Then it is better to confirm whether or not implement it by migrating or 
just ignoring ;-)
